GEAR for Sports expands direct-to-garment print capabilities with Kornit NeoPoly Technology

Zolemba improves production efficiency by 20% with Martin Automatic technology

Netherlands based label converter, Zolemba BV, has installed a Martin Automatic MBS unwind splicer to improve productivity at its plant in Haaksbergen. The MBS non-stop unit, which is fitted to a 530mm converting line that has two flexo print stations and two die cutting units, has made a significant difference to machine downtime for roll changes with the line typically running at 120m/min.

Xaar PLC Announces Ian Tichias as chief finance officer

Mutoh Europe announces dedicated RIP solution for its UV LED direct to object printers

Japan, announced the release of a dedicated RIP software solution for its UV LED direct to object flatbed production printers, called Digital Factory UV – Mutoh Edition. Developed for Mutoh Europe by CADlink Technology Corporation, this new RIP solution has been specifically tailored to the Mutoh ValueJet 426UF A3+ size and ValueJet 626UF A2-size 6 colour (C, M, Y, K, Clear & White) UV LED flatbed printer models.

Pascal Juery new Chief Executive Officer of Agfa-Gevaert

HERMA Compostable label stock now certified

In cases where waste cannot be avoided, it should at least be recyclable or suitable for composting. Reflecting its sustainable approach, HERMA has now taken a further step in this direction. The label stocks consisting of the label materials HERMAextracoat (grade 242) or HERMAtherm Bio (grade 908) and the special adhesive 62N have now been awarded the so-called Keimling (seedling) logo, as certification according to EN 13432 has been successfully completed.
